Welcome |
 |
| |
This month we're raising the profile of our website subscription service so you can find out about new tools the minute we upload them. We also take a light-hearted look at a serious issue as we
explore the peculiar phenomenon of workplace Adjustaphobia.
We've got a great HabitAtWork story for you. Last year BNZ launched HabitAtWork in their wellness programme with promising early results, and now we have an update about what's happened since then.
Keep up your invaluable and creative efforts.

85% reduction in external assistance at BNZ |
 |
| |
Remember how last year the BNZ empowered staff to manage emerging pain and discomfort by building HabitAtWork into its staff wellness programme? BNZ Health and Safety Consultant Eta Lilic recently told us
that the early positive results of this initiative are being eclipsed by recent gains as HabitAtWork 'beds in'.
We are very encouraged to hear this. One of our main aims is to develop tools that save employers money and time while promoting a self management approach to discomfort, pain and injury problems.

Don't touch my chair! |
 |
| |
Imagine this - you visit a workplace for a meeting and pull up an empty chair. Now seated, you reach for the lever to adjust it so your feet can reach the floor, but somebody says 'you can't
do that, it's so-and-so's chair and it's been specially set up for them'.
You have just encountered office based Adjustaphobia, which can strike anywhere (and in any work environment) after someone gets their workstation,
chair or equipment set up by an 'expert'. What is Adjustaphobia, and what can be done about it?
